WinCommerce joins hands with partners to develop the Vietnamese retail market towards modernization

    On June 20, 2024, the Supplier Conference organized by WinCommerce General Commercial Services Joint Stock Company (the governing body of the WinMart supermarket system and WinMart+/WiN store chain) took place in Hanoi. The conference attracted the participation of more than 300 suppliers and partners.

    In 2023, WinCommerce completed its restructuring and returned to its expansion strategy, focusing on separate models for each region and customer segment. By the end of 2024, WinCommerce plans to expand its scale with the goal of achieving 4,000 stores; meaning that a new store will open every day.

    WinCommerce has been proactively collaborating with reputable suppliers to ensure a competitive pricing strategy, maintaining a price index that is equal to or competitive with the market. To date, WiN Membership has attracted 9 million registered customers, aiming to reach 30 million members in the next 5 years. Membership basket value is double that of non-membership customers and the average shopping frequency is four times/month.


    At the conference, WinCommerce also shared about how it has promoted the application of technology in business operations. By focusing on the transportation and distribution process, applying AI and Machine Learning technology to the management system, Supra's internal supply chain has helped WinCommerce optimize logistics costs by up to 11%.

    At the end of the conference, WinCommerce affirmed that the opportunities in the Vietnamese retail market remain vast, WinCommerce and its partners have a golden opportunity to increase revenue through modern retail channels, while improving the material and spiritual living standards of Vietnamese consumers.
