The Top 50 Vietnamese Company is a prestigious ranking organized annually by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine in collaboration with Thien Viet Securities, with consultation from leading economic experts.

The ranking is based on measuring companies’ business results over three consecutive years, using three growth indicators: revenue, return on equity (ROE), and earnings per share. The results provide an objective assessment of corporate governance capacity.
12 years in the TOP 50 Vietnamese Company
This year’s TOP 50 recognized the strong presence of leading Vietnamese enterprises performing effectively across major economic sectors such as retail, consumer goods, banking, and manufacturing.
Masan Group (HOSE: MSN) continued to be honored in the TOP 50 for the 12th consecutive year. This achievement reflects Masan Group’s relentless development, breakthrough and sustainable growth, and contribution to Vietnam’s economic progress.
After nearly 30 years of establishment and development, Masan Group is now one of the leading consumer-retail enterprises in Vietnam. Masan currently operates more than 4,200 points of sale nationwide, serving the essential consumption needs of 100 million Vietnamese consumers. The Masan ecosystem covers multiple growth-potential sectors: fast-moving consumer goods (Masan Consumer with Chin-Su, Nam Ngư, Omachi, Kokomi, Wake-Up 247, Vinacafé), branded meat (Masan MEATLife with MeatDeli, Ponnie, Heo Cao Bồi). Retail operations are run by WinCommerce (WinMart, WinMart+), tea and coffee (Phúc Long Heritage), and high-tech materials (Masan High-Tech Materials).

In 2025, the Group marks significant milestones in its strategy to concentrate resources on consumer-retail, expand its network in rural areas with a retail modernization strategy, accelerate the Go Digital (digital transformation) initiative, foster innovation, invest in technology to create high-quality and diverse products serving domestic demand as well as exports to major markets such as the U.S., Japan, Australia, South Korea, Canada…
90% of annual profit target achieved within the first 9 months of 2025
According to Masan Group, the company expects to complete about 90% of its 2025 base-case profit target within just the first 9 months. Specifically, profit after tax and before minority interest (NPAT Pre-MI) is estimated at VND1,827 billion in Q3, lifting the 9-month cumulative to nearly VND4,430 billion, compared to the full-year target of VND4,875–6,500 billion.
A key growth driver came from WinCommerce (WCM) – the retail chain with more than 4,200 outlets nationwide, of which 75% of new stores were concentrated in rural areas. WCM recorded revenue of over VND25,000 billion in the first 8 months, up 16.1% YoY and surpassing the annual growth plan. In August alone, revenue reached VND3,573 billion, up 24.2% YoY, reflecting the strong rebound of domestic demand and the efficiency of the modern retail model.
Masan MEATLife (MML), a member of the Masan ecosystem, also delivered sustainable progress after restructuring. In August 2025, MML’s revenue reached VND999 billion (+11.1%), while profit after tax rose 60.5% to VND35 billion. EBIT and EBITDA both improved significantly, demonstrating enhanced operational efficiency and stronger profit margins. These results reflect the growing consumer shift toward branded, safe, and traceable meat products.
According to the September 2025 update, Bao Viet Securities (BVSC) stated: The main growth drivers of Masan are identified as WinCommerce, Masan MEATLife, Masan High-Tech Materials, and Phúc Long, while Masan Consumer is expected to recover strongly from 2026.

Alongside business operations, Masan Group consistently emphasizes corporate social responsibility (CSR) through impactful initiatives, focusing on economic development, infrastructure, healthcare and nutrition, education and community support, with estimated financial contributions of over VND144 billion in 2024. These efforts not only contribute to local development but also provide substantial financial and in-kind support to communities across Vietnam.
